The 3100 series High Frequency Oscillatory Ventilator is the only FDA approved HFOV device in treating respiratory failure in neonates and ARDS in pediatric patients. The 3100A HFOV is used for pediatric and neonatal patients while the 3100B HFOV is used on patients weighing 35 kg or more.

Proven respiratory support

Backed by numerous clinical and peer-reviewed studies, 3100 HFOV ventilators combine high-frequency respiratory rate with low tidal volumes, keeping airways open and reducing stress and injury to patients’ lungs.

3100A HFOV

The 3100A HFOV is the gold standard of high-frequency oscillatory ventilation for neonatal and pediatric patients.

3100B HFOV

3100B HFOV provides reliable high-frequency ventilation for patients 35 kg and larger.

Studies have found:

  • Decreased duration of oxygen therapy 1-2
  • Decreased nCPAP duration 2-3
  • Decreased chronic lung disease (CLD) 1, 3-6
  • Discharge up to 24 days earlier 1
  • As little as two days on HFOV before extubation 1, 7
  • Lower hospital cost 3-4
  • Stand-alone lung protective ventilator
  • Active inspiration and active expiration
  • 180 - 900 BPB as determined by 3–15 Hz oscillator frequency
